The new Samba collection from Lurbel offers textile technology and design for trail running

The Spanish brand of technical sportswear is launching its new Samba collection for SS 2020. This collection is an innovative textile proposal for trail running. The new textile technology “iDT Neo” is used in all its models, and there are design changes in both the men's and women's versions.

The main new item in the collection is the Samba Skirt, an incredibly lightweight garment designed for female runners. It consists of an elastic outer skirt and an inner technical mesh, with iDT neo technology that expels sweat and dries quickly.

The Samba Shorts (which were previously called Chie) are now lighter than the previous version, featuring the optimized +A waist system that provides improved fit and support. The T-shirts have a regular style that is fitted, without acting like a second skin. A new sleeveless version is now also available in both the men's and women's versions.

Performance, durability and comfort

The Lurbel Samba Collection is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding mountain runner: the iDT neo technology allows the fabric to quickly wick away sweat and dry in a few minutes, minimising the risk of cooling. In addition, the seamless construction of its edges and the two-way weaving system used in its manufacture provide the runner with maximum comfort.

Anti-odour and UPF 50+

For greater athlete safety and comfort, all clothes in this collection (as in the entire Lurbel catalogue) contain antibacterial yarn, which prevents the growth of bacteria that cause bad odours. They also protect wearers from the sun thanks to their UPF 50+ sun protection factor.

Just like the rest of Lurbel’s clothes, they are 100% designed and manufactured in the brand's facilities in Ontinyent (Valencia). This means that they’re a local purchase, which strengthens our region's economic activity.
