Born in Ontinyent, a land with a deep-rooted textile tradition among the mountains of southern València, every Lurbel garment embodies precision, passion and determination.
Since 1992, we have designed, knitted and tested every piece in our own facilities, combining innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship to create garments that move with you – wherever your goals take you.

Why
Lurbel exists
When the effort goes on, the skin is the first limit. Accumulated friction, heat, the moisture of sweat: conditions nobody fully controls, but that a well-built sock can manage.
Lurbel was born from that specific need —protecting the athlete's skin during prolonged efforts— and its focus has not changed since: understanding what happens in the foot, in the body, at kilometre 60, and finding the solution from the fibre.
In 1999 we produced Aitana, the first sock designed specifically for trail running. More than 30 years working for outdoor sport, sustained effort and the pursuit of performance without losing touch with nature.

MANUFACTURING · ZERO KILOMETRE
When everything is made in-house, it shows
Over 80% of our suppliers are Spanish. The remaining 20% are exclusively European. We control every stage of the process —material selection, development of knit structures, application of our own technologies, final quality control— because real textile innovation cannot be outsourced. More than 400 solar panels generate 41% of our energy. The rest comes from renewable sources. Accumulated savings: 175,198 t of CO₂, equivalent to 14,015 trees.
100% in-house manufacturing in Spain
All production takes place at our plant in Ontinyent, Valencia. Full quality control, complete traceability and guaranteed ethical working conditions.
Patented textile technologies
We develop and patent our own fibres and structures: Regenactiv®, Bmax, IDT Neo Recycled, Compressive, Merino, Performance and Antiodour Base Layer.
Over 30 years of R&D&I
Since 1992 we have invested in research to create solutions others don't have. We don't follow trends: we create them from Ontinyent.

Our own solar photovoltaic plant, PEFC-certified packaging, Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and signatories of the United Nations Global Compact.
