The AWC (Air Waves Comfort) structure is designed for sports where the temperature of the foot is very high due to contact and friction with the surface, and there is a risk of overheating.
Without losing sight of the cushioning, we add extra breathability to optimise the cooling of the foot and the expulsion of moisture.
Improves the cooling flow of the foot by expelling heat faster through its ventilation waves.
The key is the design of this plantar structure that embeds relief waves and cooling waves with micro-perforated fabric. A combination of densities that enhances the circulation of air through its micro-perforated channels and at the same time provides cushioning in those that have extra relief.
Convenience, comfort and breathability, guaranteed.

The analysis carried out before and after a race with the Bmax Distance sock, with ESP plantar structure, and the Bmax Tiwar sock, with AWC plantar structure, demonstrated the following:
1. Increased flow of heat expulsion in the Bmax Tiwar sock with AWC through micro-perforated waves.
2. The Bmax Tiwar sock with AWC absorbs/expels more heat during sport and shows a greater temperature variation between the periods before and after sports activities than the Bmax with ESP.

Plantar structure optimised for short-medium distance asphalt running, where the temperature of the foot is very high due to contact and friction with the surface, and there is a higher risk of overheating. This variant expels excess moisture and heat more quickly to the outside, without losing that protection in the areas of greatest friction or wear with the footwear.
ㅤ
ㅤㅤ
Foot structure optimised for medium-long distance asphalt running, where a greater protection of the foot is required due to the accumulation of kilometres without losing cooling.

Plantar structure optimised for medium-long distance trail running, where the temperature of the foot is very high due to contact and friction with uneven terrain, and there is a higher risk of overheating. This variant, specifically designed for mountain running, has extra reinforcement in the toe and heel for greater protection of the areas that suffer the most friction and wear from footwear.

Plantar structure optimised for long or ultra distance trail running, where maximum protection and cushioning is needed in the areas of greatest friction or high contact, without losing cooling. This variant also has extra toe and heel reinforcement.
