IDT Neo Recycled is the evolution of Lurbel’s original IDT fabric, developed to deliver next-generation breathability and thermoregulation. In this new version, we combine ionised recycled polyester with bamboo charcoal particles, multifilament polyamide, and the Antiodour Base Layer, creating a textile ecosystem that responds intelligently to the body and its environment.

Antiodour Base Layer

The recycled polyester yarn, ionised with carbonised bamboo particles, is combined with a new polyester with a cross-section three times larger than conventional polyester, multiplying its moisture absorption, dissipation and drying properties.

The Antiodour Base Layer exerts its antibacterial power across the entire garment, guaranteeing durability and odour control.

Tailored thermoregulation

Designed to transport more moisture, dissipate heat and dry faster. This is achieved through the combination of bamboo charcoal yarn with a special five-channel cross-section polyester, offering three times the surface area of conventional polyester.

Enhanced breathability

The multifilament structure quickly pushes sweat outwards while allowing heat to remain inside when needed, helping the athlete maintain an ideal thermal balance in any condition.

Intelligent anti-odour structure

IDT Neo Recycled features a dual-action barrier against odour. First, the ionised recycled polyester with bamboo charcoal particles actively neutralises the bacteria that cause bad odours. Second, the silver-ionised elastic mesh of the Antiodour Base Layer runs across the entire garment, enhancing its antibacterial and anti-odour effect.

A more natural, softer feel

Thanks to the fabric’s zigzag weave pattern, the garment is more elastic, softer to the touch and offers greater comfort, adapting naturally to movement.

The structure of IDT Neo Recycled is precisely engineered: key sweat zones feature a higher concentration of antibacterial yarn, ensuring optimal performance exactly where it’s needed. Combined with the soft and elastic finish, this results in maximum freshness, comfort and durability.

Garment drying speed test

Compared to conventional polyester or cotton fabric, testing* shows that iDT Neo garments dry completely in 52 minutes.

(*) In this test, a standard amount of fabric was moistened with a standard amount of distilled water and the drying time was measured.

Moisture transport speed test
Compared to conventional polyester or cotton fabric, testing* shows that the new yarn combining iDT Neo transports water faster than any other known fabric.

(*) A standard amount of water (approximately one drop) is placed on the fabric, and the time taken for the fabric to transport the water is measured.
