Spring/Summer 26: Technology with a Designation of Origin
For more than three decades, Lurbel has built its identity around technological innovation applied to performance sportswear. With headquarters and production fully based in Ontinyent (Valencia), the Spanish brand has developed its own model—grounded in research, development, and local manufacturing—to create technical garments designed to meet the athlete’s real demands.
Rather than outsourcing innovation, Lurbel has chosen to develop its own textile technologies in-house. The result is an ecosystem of technical solutions that combine fibre selection, textile-structure design, and proprietary manufacturing processes—created to enhance performance, comfort, and skin protection during sport.
In-house technologies: innovation developed from within
One of Lurbel’s pillars is its textile technologies. Over the years, the brand has developed an ecosystem of technical solutions designed to address specific athlete needs: moisture management, thermoregulation, odour control, ergonomics, and protection against friction.
These technologies are developed through an in-house process that combines research, textile design and real-world testing with athletes. This approach enables the brand to continually refine its technical solutions and adapt them to different types of activity, intensity and environment.

Skin care: a priority
At the heart of Lurbel’s product development lies a clear priority: protecting the athlete’s skin. During exercise, friction, moisture or temperature changes can directly affect comfort and performance. For this reason, all the technologies developed by the brand are designed to create stable conditions between the skin and the garment, reducing moisture build-up and minimising friction points.
This approach is embodied in Regenactiv®, the first technology developed by Lurbel, designed to care for the skin during prolonged exertion. Thanks to its antibacterial, antifungal and anti-odour properties, it helps prevent irritation and the growth of fungi, keeping the skin in optimal condition even during long-lasting activities or for people with particularly sensitive skin.
When the intensity of exercise increases or weather conditions require it, Lurbel combines Regenactiv® fabric with other technical fibres to create its Bmax technology, designed specifically for sports and which optimises moisture management and reduces friction, helping to prevent blisters during activity.
“Far from outsourcing innovation, we have chosen to develop our technologies in-house. Research, design and manufacturing all under one roof, in Ontinyent.”Rafa Lurbe — Founder and CEO of Lurbel

A new era for merino wool
In its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Lurbel introduces a new take on merino wool within its technological universe. The brand approaches this natural fibre from a technical perspective, combining it with advanced textile structures and proprietary processes to enhance its thermal regulation, softness and moisture-management properties.
Merino Pure
100% merino wool with no synthetic blends. Prioritises natural comfort and breathability.
Merino Dry
Merino + cross-section polyester for rapid sweat wicking in moderate or high temperatures.
Merino Hollow
Merino + hollow-core polypropylene to balance thermal regulation and moisture control in cold or mid-season conditions.

New Spring/Summer 26 Collection
With this SS26 collection, Lurbel continues to reinforce its commitment to technological development applied to sportswear. The range is spearheaded by the new Toe Series line of socks, the redesign of the Venus and Cristallo women’s tops —now featuring Regenactiv®— and the revamp of the merino wool product line, which brings the natural fibre into the brand’s technological universe.
All of this forms part of an innovation model in which research, development and manufacturing are carried out entirely in Ontinyent (Valencia). An approach that reflects the brand’s values and guarantees quality, proximity and total control at every stage of the product’s life cycle.
