AWC Planting System
We seek to compare the breathability between the ESP plantar system (higher density reinforcements at strategic points of the sole) with the new AWC plantar system which conserves a higher amount of fabric waves to maintain a correct cushioning, but the amount of reinforcements has been reduced in order to improve the breathability of the foot.
In areas where the fabric is thinner, more heat is transmitted to the outside.
The Tiwarsock, with the AWC plantar system is warmer after 20 minutes of running as a symptom of having absorbed more heat.
Post-test thermographic image with the BMAX Distance sock, where it can be seen that in this case there is no differentiation between the two fabrics.
*Each runner has performed two randomised tests with both socks. A 4-minute warm-up on the treadmill + 16 minutes of running was performed. The speeds for both are chosen freely.

Graph showing the variation in temperature with the sock placed between the Bmax Distance and Bmax Tiwar on both feet.
The Tiwar sock absorbed more heat and offers greater breathability than the Bmax Distance sock.
