In 2012, Lurbel transformed Regenactiv®—originally designed for medical use—into the foundation of a breakthrough sports textile: Bmax. By combining it with other technical fibres—such as multichannel structures, hollow-core yarns or natural fibres like merino wool—a full family of performance fabrics was created. Each version adapts to specific conditions, but all share the same goal: to protect your skin from overheating, moisture and friction, keeping your feet in peak condition to help you go further, for longer.
Bmax Tetra provides a high-performance solution by blending skin protection with rapid moisture wicking. While Regenactiv® works directly against the skin to minimise irritation and heat build-up, a multichannel fibre transports sweat outwards, preventing moisture accumulation and internal friction. It’s the ideal choice for athletes who need to keep their feet fresh in warm environments.
Bmax Hollow retains the same skin-protective properties but incorporates a different internal structure: a recycled hollow-core fibre that traps body heat while releasing moisture to the outside. This dual action keeps feet dry without sacrificing thermal comfort—ideal for winter trail running, mountain activities or outdoor training in cold weather.
Bmax Merino blends merino wool with Regenactiv® to boost thermal performance while reducing the risk of friction-related irritation. Its structure transports moisture outwards while retaining warmth inside, keeping skin clean, dry and protected.
